Dennis Ziemienski is widely known for his paintings of the American West, a subject he has always felt compelled to portray.  His paintings are comprised of western landscapes, old Route 66 time-capsules, neon billboards, cowboys and cowgirls, and bold, graphic, journey-minded compositions that recall early 20th century travel posters.  Of his inspiration Ziemiesnski shares, “I have spent the last 15 years of my painting career discovering and creating the imagery for my work by traveling from the Pacific Ocean, up the Rocky Mountains and down to the Southwestern deserts.  It is thrilling to be able to interpret such breathtaking landscapes, and historical images.”
